Jordanian Army Chief Visits Aoun, Affirms Continued Support for Lebanese Army

Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Thursday received the Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Yousef Hneiti, who conveyed Jordan's commitment, under the directives of King Abdullah II, to continue supporting the Lebanese Armed Forces with equipment and training. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hneiti stated that the support aims to enable the Lebanese Army to carry out its required duties, within the framework of the fraternal relations linking Lebanon and Jordan.
