Journalists Honored for Courageous Reporting at Zgharta Ceremony

ZGHARTA: A ceremony was held to honor three journalists for their courageous reporting in challenging environments. Jacinthe Antar of Al-Jadeed, Rina Douaihy of Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath, and Joseph Farshakh of LBCI were recognized at an event organized by the Ehden Youth Association. The ceremony took place at the Municipal Theater in Zgharta, specifically in the Pierre Farshakh Hall, under the patronage of caretaker Minister of Information Ziad Makary. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the event aimed to acknowledge the significant contributions and risks undertaken by these journalists in their pursuit of truth. The honorees have been noted for their dedication to reporting from the frontlines, providing critical insights into regional conflicts and societal issues.
