Beirut: Caretaker Justice Minister, Judge Henry Khoury, on Tuesday met with a delegation from the European Union mission in Lebanon. The delegation included Alessandra Viezzer, Head of the EU's Judicial Cooperation Program with the Ministry of Justice; Andrea Batista, Program Director; and Roni Kassab, Political Affairs Coordinator. The meeting aimed to follow up on enhancing the existing partnership agreement between the EU and Lebanon, particularly in the judicial and legal sectors. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions focused on strengthening collaborative efforts to improve Lebanon's judicial framework. The partnership between the EU and Lebanon seeks to promote judicial reforms and enhance legal processes, which are crucial in addressing challenges faced by the Lebanese judicial system.
