Beirut: MP Fadi Karam announced on Monday during an interview with Sawt Kel Lebnen radio station that the Strong Republic bloc plans to nominate Nawaf Salam for the position of Prime Minister in the upcoming binding parliamentary consultations. This decision follows the withdrawal of MP Fouad Makhzoumi from the race.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Karam also stated that the Lebanese Forces will participate in the government. He emphasized their commitment to supporting the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister in efforts to address the challenges facing Lebanon.
