Karami Begins Sydney Visit with Talks on Academic, Early Education Cooperation

Sydney: Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, on Monday began her official visit to Sydney with a meeting at the University of Sydney, where she was received by Vice President Prof. Joanne Wright. Discussions reportedly focused on enhancing academic cooperation and exchanging expertise between Lebanese and Australian universities.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, later in the day, Minister Karami attended a luncheon hosted by Charles Assaf of Montessori Academy. The talks during the luncheon centered on advancing early childhood education and modern pedagogical programs. Minister Karami also toured one of Australia's leading early learning centers, Montessori Academy, to review its innovative curricula and educational facilities, praising the high standards of Australian education.

In the evening, the minister attended a concert at Government House, concluding her day with a dinner hosted by the Lebanese-Australian Foundation team. The dinner's focus was on strengthening cultural and educational ties between Lebanon and Australia.
