Beirut: Lebanese President Jospeh Aoun received a phone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan, who extended condolences to the Lebanese people for the victims of ongoing Israeli attacks targeting civilians and residential areas.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the King expressed Jordan's solidarity, monarchy, government, and people, with Lebanon and offered assistance to help halt military escalation, including support for Lebanon's inclusion in the US-Iran ceasefire agreement.
President Aoun thanked King Abdullah for his consistent solidarity with Lebanon and appreciated Jordan's support, especially in providing urgent medical, humanitarian, and relief aid for displaced families forced to leave their towns and villages.
