AMMAN: His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, made a significant visit to the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces Group Command on Tuesday. According to Jordan News Agency, the King, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, received a comprehensive briefing from the group's commander on the ongoing development and modernization initiatives within the unit. The briefing covered extensive plans aimed at building the capacities of its personnel to enhance their operational effectiveness. His Majesty underscored the importance of continuing to advance readiness and training programs to maintain high performance and efficiency under various circumstances. He expressed his pride in the readiness and morale of the army personnel, emphasizing the critical role of the Special Forces in national security. The meeting was also attended by key military and security leaders including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yo usef Huneiti, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, highlighting the coordinated effort across various branches of Jordan's security apparatus.
