Kuwait Amir Receives Fiscal Reports for KDIPA and Audit Bureau

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was presented with the fiscal reports for 2023/2024 from the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Kuwait Audit Bureau during meetings at Bayan Palace on Monday. The reports were delivered by key officials, including the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Minister of Finance, and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Khalifa Al-Askar. According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting included the presentation of KDIPA's fiscal year report by Director General Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Deputy Chairman Wafa Al-Qatami. His Highness the Amir was briefed on the financial activities and strategic initiatives outlined in the report. Subsequently, the President of Kuwait Audit Bureau, Essam Al-Roumi, presented the bureau's fiscal report, providing insights into the financial oversight and accountability measures for the same fiscal period. These reports play a pivotal role in informi ng the Amir about the economic landscape and financial governance of Kuwait.
