Kuwait: Kuwait's distinction as the "Capital of Arab Culture and Media" underscores its significant cultural heritage and burgeoning influence in the media sector, an official emphasized on Thursday. According to Kuwait News Agency, Saad Al-Azmi, assistant undersecretary for the media department at the Kuwaiti Information Ministry, expressed this viewpoint during discussions in Cairo about the preparations for a grand Kuwaiti gala. This event, set to commence early next year, aims to celebrate Kuwait's new cultural accolade. Al-Azmi described Kuwait as a "beacon" of culture and highlighted that the planned festivities will align with the national directives provided by Information Minister Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. These directives focus on showcasing Kuwait's esteemed position in the Arab world through various national celebrations. Further details about the event were shared by Dr. Yousef Al-Sureya, head of the radio department at the Kuwaiti Information Ministry and chief organizer of the gala.
