Kuwait Engages in Aviation Cooperation Talks with Malaysia, South Korea, Rwanda, and UAE

Kuala lumpur: Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) held strategic discussions with officials from Malaysia, South Korea, Rwanda, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to enhance cooperation in civil aviation. The meetings, led by DGCA Chief Sheikh Humoud Al-Sabah, took place on the fourth day of the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) Air Services Negotiation Event in Kuala Lumpur. According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions with Malaysian officials resulted in a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to increase the number of flights and expand services. The dialogue with South Korea also culminated in signing a MoU and a protocol to amend the existing air transport agreement in response to industry developments. The meeting with the UAE focused on regional and international issues and improving flight operations. Additionally, talks with Rwandan officials centered on enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two countries. The ICAO Air Services Negotiati on Event, hosted by Malaysia's Ministry of Transport, runs from October 21 to 25 and gathers civil aviation representatives from around the world. The conference allows participants to engage in negotiations and bilateral talks on aviation services and provides a platform for policy makers, organizational authorities, operators, and service providers to connect.
