Kuwait Foreign Minister Attends US National Day Celebration

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya, participated in a ceremonial event on Wednesday organized by the US diplomatic mission in Kuwait to commemorate the National Day of the United States, commonly known as Independence Day. The event took place at the US embassy in Kuwait City. According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Yahya conveyed his sincere congratulations to the US leadership, administration, and citizens, expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the nation. He emphasized the desire for strengthened relations and strategic partnership between Kuwait and the United States. Minister Al-Yahya also praised the historical ties between Kuwait and the USA, which date back 63 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. He highlighted that these relations have been continuously evolving, reaching higher levels across various sectors to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.
