KUWAIT CITY: In a significant humanitarian collaboration, Kuwait's Namaa Charity and the Palestinian El-Wafa Charity have joined forces to provide essential relief to families affected by a devastating fire at Shuhadaa Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza. The fire, which caused extensive damage to the hospital, left numerous Palestinian families in dire need of assistance. According to Kuwait News Agency, the joint effort saw the distribution of food, medical supplies, and clothing, addressing some of the immediate needs of the displaced families. Mheisen Atawneh, the director of El-Wafa, emphasized the critical situation in Gaza, noting that the collaboration with Namaa Charity was essential due to the ongoing humanitarian crisis affecting thousands. Atawneh highlighted that Namaa has been actively involved in humanitarian efforts in Gaza for over a year, underscoring their commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by war-stricken communities. The collaboration between the two charities is part of a broader initiative to enhance the response to emergencies and disasters in the region. By pooling resources and coordinating efforts, Namaa and El-Wafa aim to increase the efficiency and impact of their aid programs, especially in crisis situations like the hospital fire.
