Kuwaiti Prime Minister Leads Delegation to Inaugural GCC-EU Summit in Brussels

KUWAIT CITY: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's representative, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, along with his delegation, departed to Belgium on Tuesday to attend the first-ever GCC-EU summit scheduled in Brussels. According to Kuwait News Agency, the delegation was seen off at Kuwait International Airport by several high-ranking officials, including the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saud Al-Sabah; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Shereeda Al-Mousherji; and the Head of the Prime Minister's Diwan, Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel. This summit marks a significant step in strengthening relations between Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the European Union.
