BRUSSELS: In a significant diplomatic engagement, His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, represented His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during a meeting with President of the European Council, Charles Michel. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the EU-GCC Summit this Wednesday in Brussels. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Prime Minister conveyed the best regards of both Kuwait's Amir and Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. He emphasized the longstanding and deep-rooted relations between Kuwait and the European Union, expressing a keen interest in enhancing constructive cooperation across various fields to serve mutual interests. The discussions also covered ways to strengthen Kuwait-EU relations and included an exchange of views on regional and international matters of shared concern. The meeting saw the participation of several high-ranking Kuwaiti officials, including Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, Un dersecretary for Financial, Administrative and Communications Affairs at the Diwan of the Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Affairs Najeeb Al-Bader, Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Sadeq Marafi, and Kuwait's Ambassador to Belgium, the EU, and NATO, Nawaf Al-Enezi.
