Beirut: Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday met in Yarzeh with the UN Secretary-General's Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, with whom he discussed regional and national developments following the Israeli aggression and efforts to enforce the ceasefire agreement. Aoun also received Greece's Ambassador to Lebanon, Despina A. Koukoulopoulou, accompanied by Defense Attaché Colonel, Nikolaos Salpingidis. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, discussions during the meetings reportedly focused on Lebanon's current situation and the broader regional dynamics. The talks with the UN Coordinator, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, aimed to address ongoing challenges in the wake of recent escalations and to reinforce the commitment to the ceasefire agreement, ensuring stability in the region.
