These discussions aimed to address the pressing developments in Lebanon and explore strategic solutions. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Jebaily's itinerary included a comprehensive dialogue with US Presidential Envoy Amos Hochstein and officials responsible for the Lebanese affairs at the Near East Bureau of the US State Department. The conversations centered on the US administration's ongoing efforts to broker a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, ensure the complete implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and reinforce the Lebanese state's authority by deploying the national army and security forces across Lebanon, with a focus on the southern region and all border crossings. Key points of the discussions highlighted the crit ical need to maintain weapons solely under the control of legitimate Lebanese forces, emphasizing their unique capability to protect Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Jebaily also engaged in talks with Dr. Massad Boulos, who plays a significant role in President-elect Donald Trump's campaign concerning Lebanese and Arab community issues.
