Lebanon Celebrates Holy Year with Pilgrims of Hope Event

Bkerke: The Foundation for the Development of Pilgrimage and Religious Tourism in Lebanon (APL), affiliated with the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, is hosting a jubilee celebration titled "Pilgrims of Hope" in honor of the 2025 Holy Year. The event is taking place at the Patriarchal See in Bkerke and includes a conference on "Religious Mountain Trails" in Lebanon, alongside the launch of the "Caminos Lebanon" project.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the day's events span various locations in the country. At 2:00 pm, the streets of Sidon will witness a march in support of Gaza, organized by the Committee for the Revival of International Quds Day under the Palestinian Resistance Support Committee. Concurrently, a political seminar marking Quds Day will be hosted by the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, at the Iranian Embassy in Beirut, followed by an Iftar.

In the realm of arts and culture, the French Cultural Center in Lebanon is opening an exhibition titled "But Leave Us in Peace: Love, Humor, War, Peace," featuring artists Serge Bloch and Chaker Bou Abdallah. This exhibition is set to run until June 30 at Galerie Montaigne.

Furthermore, the Dr. Wadie El Hage Foundation is hosting a discussion session at Saint Joseph School in Kornet Chehwan. The session is titled "Together for Coordinated Healthcare and Social Safety Networks" and includes the announcement of the opening of the Saint Charbel Healthcare Center.
