Lebanon’s House Speaker Berri Coordinates with PM Mikati and French Envoy Amid Regional Tensions

Beirut: In a series of crucial meetings, Lebanon's House Speaker, Nabih Berri, convened with Prime Minister Najib Mikati and French Ambassador Hervé Magro at the second presidential residence in Ain al-Tineh. The discussions focused on the escalating Israeli aggression towards Lebanon, the plight of displaced individuals, and Lebanon's ongoing political challenges. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri and Mikati analyzed the latest political and field developments concerning the increasing hostilities from Israel. The talks also covered the critical issue of displaced persons, a growing concern amid the regional instability. In a subsequent meeting with France's Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, Berri examined the national situation and the political environment. They also discussed the arrangements for an upcoming international conference spearheaded by France aimed at mobilizing support for Lebanon during these turbulent times. Adding to the security discussions, Berri met with Army Intel ligence Chief Brigadier General Tony Kahwagi to deliberate over security matters crucial for national safety and stability.
