Lebanon: Lebanon remains under the influence of a fast-moving low-pressure system originating from the Black Sea, bringing heavy rainfall at times, thunderstorms, and a significant drop in temperatures. According to National news agency - Lebanon, snow is expected on elevations of 900 meters and above on Friday morning, particularly in northern regions, without substantial accumulation. Conditions are forecast to improve gradually from Friday afternoon as cold northerly winds take hold, increasing the risk of ice formation on mountain and inland roads above 1,000 meters overnight. Authorities warn of hazardous driving conditions due to frost and potential snow cover, especially at higher altitudes.
