‘Loyalty to the Resistance’ Bloc Names No Candidate for Premiership

Baabda: 'Loyalty to the Resistance' parliamentary bloc did not name any candidate for the premiership during its meeting with President Joseph Aoun as part of the binding parliamentary consultations at Baabda Palace on Monday.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the bloc, which comprises several MPs, chose not to endorse any individual for the position of prime minister. The members present at the meeting included Mohammed Raad, Amin Sherri, Rami Abu Hamdan, Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, Hussein Al-Hajj Hassan, Ali Al-Muqdad, Ihab Hamadeh, Hussein Jishi, Hassan Fadlallah, Ali Fayyad, Ali Ammar, Hassan Ezz El-Din, Raed Berro, Yanal Solh, and Melhem Al-Hujairi.

This decision comes amidst ongoing political deliberations at Baabda Palace, where various parliamentary blocs are engaging in consultations to address the country's leadership and governance issues.
