Beirut: A handover ceremony was held at the General Directorate of Public Security, marking the transition of leadership from Major General Elias Al-Bissari to Major General Hassan Choucair. The event was conducted under the patronage and in the presence of Ahmad Al-Hajjar, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, at Central Building No. 3. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the day featured several significant governmental activities. At 10:00, a Cabinet session was convened in the Grand Serail, highlighting the ongoing administrative engagements in the city. Parliamentary activities were also prominent. The Finance and Budget Committee and the National Education, Higher Education, and Culture Parliamentary Committee both convened sessions at 11:00, focusing on their respective agendas. Additionally, at 13:00, Minister of Information Paul Morcos patronized a meeting organized by the head of the National Committee for Addressing the Situation of Undocumented Lebanese Children. This meeting to ok place at the Ministry building, emphasizing the government's focus on addressing critical social issues in the country.
