Beirut: Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Beirut Elias Audi received a delegation from the Beirut Fire Brigade comprising Charbel Kassab, Ahmad Al-Arab, Ghassan Radi, Zouheir Baoli, and Ali Awada. The delegation briefed Audi on what they described as the hardship and injustice caused by a decision to bring forward their retirement age by four years, despite their appeal before the State Council.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation asked the metropolitan to support their efforts to remain in service.
