Mikati Engages with EU and China Ambassadors on Israeli Aggression.

Beirut: Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati initiated a series of diplomatic discussions on Monday, focusing on garnering support for Lebanon's stance against Israeli actions. His meetings are part of an effort to address and halt the ongoing aggression impacting the region. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Mikati's diplomatic engagements began with a meeting at the Grand Serail with Sandra De Waele, the European Union's Ambassador to Lebanon. During their discussion, De Waele emphasized the critical need for an immediate ceasefire to prevent further escalation of tensions. In a continuation of his diplomatic outreach, Mikati also met with Qian Minjian, the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, to discuss recent developments and seek China's perspective and support on the situation. Additionally, earlier in the day, Mikati held discussions with Major General Elias Baissari, Acting Director General of the General Security agency, to review the security situation and coordinate efforts in response to the ongoing challenges faced by Lebanon.
