Beirut: Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Thursday hosted discussions with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, and British Ambassador, Hamish Cowell, at the Grand Serail, focusing on efforts to secure a ceasefire amid ongoing regional tensions. The meetings underscored the significance of international collaboration in achieving regional stability. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions with Ambassador Magro highlighted France's commitment to supporting Lebanon during challenging times. An official source stated that the dialogue emphasized the crucial role of international cooperation in navigating the current crisis. In a separate meeting, Mikati's conversation with Ambassador Cowell revolved around recent developments and the necessity for stability and sustained diplomatic engagement. The discussions with both ambassadors reflected a shared understanding of the importance of diplomatic efforts in addressing regional challenges. Additionally, Prime Minister Mikati m et with François Abi Saab, representative of the Sovereign Order of Malta, to discuss humanitarian initiatives.
