Mikati Holds International Community Accountable for Israeli Actions Against Lebanon.

Beirut: Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Wednesday held "the international community responsible for the continuity of the Israeli genocide war against Lebanon, the destruction of the towns and villages, the killing of civilians, the assassination of army members, targeting the medical crews and Civil Defense and rescue teams, in addition to the attacks on the UNIFIL." According to National news agency - Lebanon, Mikati emphasized Lebanon's commitment to preserving its dignity during a cabinet session at the Grand Serail. He declared that Lebanon would not tolerate any violations or attacks, stating that the ongoing Israeli actions had escalated to crimes against humanity and civilization, in violation of international laws and charters. Mikati further outlined that the cessation of war and the full implementation of UN Resolution 1701 are essential prerequisites for any solution acceptable to Lebanon. He also highlighted the importance of electing a president of the republic as part of the resolu tion process. In a separate statement, Mikati extended his congratulations to Donald Trump on his election as the President of the United States.
