Military Court Approves Bail for Fadel Shaker in Security Cases; Abra Case Still Under Review

Beirut: The Permanent Military Court, under the leadership of Brigadier General Wissam Fayyad, has approved the release of singer Fadel Shaker on bail concerning four security cases, with the notable exception of the Abra case, which remains under judicial scrutiny.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the court decided to release Shaker on bail for three of the cases, with each case requiring a bail amount of LBP100 million. The court set a higher bail amount of LBP200 million for the highly-publicized Abra case. These decisions represent a significant development in Shaker's legal battles.

The case files have been forwarded to the Government Commissioner at the Military Court, Judge Claude Ghanem. Judge Ghanem has sanctioned Shaker's release on bail for the three cases; however, he is still in the process of reviewing the Abra case to decide whether to contest the court's decision. This ongoing review means that the Abra case remains unresolved for the moment.
