Beirut: Minister of Economy and Trade Dr. Amer Al-Bassat recently held significant discussions with a European Union delegation and the Brazilian Ambassador, focusing on enhancing budget preparation mechanisms and technical assistance for a landmark exhibition.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Dr. Al-Bassat's meeting with the EU delegation centered on the SIGMA project, which aims to refine the budget preparation processes for various ministries. This initiative is expected to streamline financial planning and bolster economic efficiency within the governmental framework.
In a separate engagement, Dr. Al-Bassat welcomed Brazilian Ambassador Tarcisio Costa to discuss Brazil's commitment to providing technical assistance for the Rashid Karami Exhibition in Tripoli. This exhibition, designed by the acclaimed Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, stands as a significant cultural project, reflecting the collaboration between Lebanon and Brazil in promoting architectural heritage and cultural exchange.
