Khartoum: The Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam, has announced the formation of a high-level committee tasked with organizing the upcoming East African Table Tennis Championship. Professor Adam will lead the committee, which includes participation from various government, security, and sports officials to ensure the successful execution of the event. According to Sudan News Agency, the committee's responsibilities encompass the mobilization of resources, overseeing the reception and accommodation of delegations, managing transport logistics, and organizing the competitions. Additionally, the committee will coordinate media coverage to promote the event. This initiative underscores Sudan's efforts to re-establish its role in hosting regional sporting events and to enhance its presence within the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA).
