Minister Raggi Engages in Talks on Enhancing Cooperation with La Francophonie Representative

Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, held discussions with L©von Amirjanyan, the Representative of the International Organization of La Francophonie in the Middle East. Their talks centered on the ongoing cooperation program between the Organization and Lebanon, focusing on areas such as economic cooperation, the promotion of the French language, training of public administration employees, and the empowerment of women.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Raggi acknowledged the efforts of the Organization in Lebanon and emphasized the significance of Francophonie in the country. Lebanon, which hosts the Organization's regional headquarters, is not only a founding member but also plays a crucial role within it.

Ambassador Amirjanyan informed Minister Raggi about the upcoming Francophonie Summit in Cambodia, which Lebanon will participate in. The Summit's agenda includes discussions on peace and the election of a new Secretary-General for the Organization.
