Beirut: In a joint statement issued by several key ministers, including Minister of the Displaced and Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamal Chahadeh, Minister of Energy and Water Joe Sadé, Minister of Industry Joe Issa El Khoury, Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, and Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Makki, the officials unequivocally denied allegations made during a televised program.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the statement was a direct response to claims by journalist Hussein Ayoub on Al Jadeed TV. The allegations suggested that during a meeting with U.S. Deputy Envoy Morgan Ortagus, Minister Chahadeh urged Israel to persist in its military actions against Hezbollah.
The ministers, who were present at the meeting, stated, “As five ministers who were present at the meeting in question, we categorically deny the statement attributed to Minister Chahadeh and affirm that it is entirely unfounded and based on false information.” This
joint denial aims to clarify the ministers’ position and refute the circulating claims as false.
