DUBAI: In his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued Decision No. (32) of 2024 forming the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Community Contributions Establishment, chaired by Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid. According to the Decision, Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi will serve as Vice Chairman of the Board. Other members of the Board include Ali Mohammed Al Mutawa; Omar Hamad Bushahab; Mohamed Abdulrazzaq Al Bastaki; Dr. Amina Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani; and Saleh Abdullah Lootah. The Decision is effective from its date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette. The Dubai Community Contributions Establishment is dedicated to promoting social solidarity, and enhancing social responsibility through philanthropy and giving. The Establishment aims to put in place sound donation management policies that follow global best practices, aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the leadership's vision to foster a culture of community contribution and participation. The Establishment seeks to encourage public and private entities to enhance their support for humanitarian causes in Dubai, by providing a trusted platform for charitable donations that can help improve people's quality of life.
