Beirut: Teams from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport fully reopened the main road linking the Bazouriyeh highway to Borj El Chemali (Sahel area), after the route was struck, causing a complete traffic shutdown.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, field operations were carried out in the presence of the Lebanese Army, which provided the necessary protection for the ministry's technical teams and machinery, enabling the completion of the required interventions and the restoration of traffic along this vital artery, classified among the region's main roads.
The works included the removal of rubble and obstacles and the reopening of the roadway to traffic, as part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to reconnect affected areas and facilitate the movement of citizens, particularly along heavily trafficked main roads.
