Doha: As part of his participation in the Doha Forum, Minister of Information, Attorney Dr. Paul Morcos, convened with both the European Union Special Representative for the Gulf at the European External Action Service (EEAS), Luigi Di Maio, and the US envoy to the Middle East in President Donald Trump's first administration, Jason Greenblatt.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Morcos also met with Yasmine Eriksson, a member of the Swedish Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, and Yusuf Aydin, a member of the Swedish Parliament from the Christian Democrats. The meetings emphasized strengthening international cooperation with Lebanon.
The Information Minister also met with Monika Schmutz Kirg¶z, Head of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Department at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. Discussions during these meetings focused on the presidential and governmental efforts to achieve stability and reforms in Lebanon. There were also talks on ways to support Lebanon and enhance media cooperation channels.
