Beirut: Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, engaged in discussions with the enezuelan Ambassador to Lebanon, Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Muzattiz, focusing on media cooperation and the launch of the "TeleSUR" agency in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Morcos expressed his honor in meeting Ambassador Biomorgi and highlighted their discussions on media collaboration, particularly regarding the status of 'TeleSUR' in Syria and the Middle East. TeleSUR is a significant media platform in Latin America that coers enezuela and numerous countries across the Americas. Morcos emphasized his role in facilitating the legal processes to establish a regional office for TeleSUR in Beirut, aiming to enhance media cooperation between Lebanon and enezuela.
Morcos noted the ambassador's commitment to fostering further cooperation between the two countries and supporting Lebanese media. Ambassador Biomorgi expressed gratitude towards Minister Morcos and reflected on the discussions to strengthen the media and cultural ties between enezuela and Lebanon, highlighting the large Lebanese community in enezuela and the importance of enhancing bilateral relations.
In a separate meeting, Minister Morcos met with a delegation from the Institute of Finance and Goernance at ESA Business School. This meeting focused on the promotion of good goernance concepts in Lebanon and the media's role in spreading awareness about transparency and accountability. The parties agreed on future cooperation to increase awareness of these issues.
