Beirut: Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, recently met with a delegation from France M©dias Monde (FMM) led by Ahmad Al-Sheikh, Head of Distribution and Development for the Middle East and Africa. The meeting, also attended by Dr. Elissar Naddaf, Chairperson and Director-General of T©l© Liban, focused on strengthening media cooperation and introducing new initiatives.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, FMM, which operates Monte Carlo Doualiya, Radio France Internationale, and France 24, currently provides Radio Lebanon's French-language channel (96.2 FM) with ten hours of daily programming. Discussions included plans for technical support aimed at enhancing broadcasting capabilities and updating equipment.
Al-Sheikh emphasized the ongoing collaboration with Dr. Naddaf concerning visual identity, logo updates, and transmission quality improvements. He mentioned that the existing memorandum of understanding between FMM and the Ministry of Information, one of the earliest such agreements in the Arab world, is set to be renewed soon.
