Beirut: Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, chaired a meeting in his office on Friday with the heads of the Ministry's departments, alongside the Ministry's Director General, Dr. Hassan Falha. The meeting aimed at progressing discussions on the ministry's strategy and monitoring the necessary executive steps.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Morcos also welcomed a delegation from the Antonine Maronite Order, including Vicar General Father Peter Azar, Superior Father Bashara Elias, and Director of the Antonine Art Institute and President of the Iconographers' Syndicate in Lebanon, Father Charbel Bou Abboud. The delegation extended an invitation to Minister Morcos for the 'Antonine Educational Choices' conference, set to take place on Saturday at the Mar Doumit School of the Antonine Sisters. This conference is a part of the Order's jubilee celebrations, marking 325 years since its founding, and aims to plan for a new future in education.
During the meeting, the delegation also congratulated Minister Morcos on his accomplishments at the Ministry of Information. Father Azar highlighted that the delegation briefed the Minister on various activities undertaken by the Antonine Art Institute, including dialogue sessions, the Human Fraternity project, and the creation of icons and mosaics.
Separately, Minister Morcos, joined by T©l© Liban Board Chair Dr. Elissar Naddaf, honored Denise Tawk and Elie Zeidan for their contributions to a successful event hosted by Tele Liban. This event, held at Tele Liban's Hazmieh studios, aimed to launch the nomination of its archive to the "Memory of the World" Register.
