Beirut: In an issued statement this afternoon, the office of Information Minister, Attorney Dr. Paul Morcos, said: "Following communication with the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, students and parents are requested to refer exclusively to the information published on the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's page: MEHE_lebanon (Instagram) / MEHE Lebanon (Facebook), as the only trusted sources." According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the statement cautioned against much of the information circulating on social media platforms and WhatsApp groups, which is often fake news and may cause confusion. "It is crucial to verify and investigate the source of any information before accepting or sharing it," the statement underlined.
