Manama: Mohamed Ould Errachid, Chairman of the House of Councillors of Morocco, visited the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and its five tracks accredited by the F©d©ration Internationale de l'Automobile. This visit took place on the sidelines of his official trip to Bahrain at the invitation of Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Jehad Abdullah Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, and Kareema Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Council, were also present during the visit. The delegation received a briefing on the circuit's facilities, its area, and the achievements it has made since its establishment in 2004.
Ould Errachid praised the advanced infrastructure and operational systems of the circuit. He acknowledged Bahrain's significant role in motorsport, highlighting its successful efforts in hosting regional and international races, particularly the prestigious Formula 1 events.
