Sidon: A motorcyclist in the city of Sidon on Wednesday set his motorcycle on fire near Spinneys supermarket after an Internal Security Forces officer attempted to stop him and confiscate the vehicle.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the incident occurred when the officer approached the motorcyclist with the intent to confiscate the vehicle for unspecified reasons. In response, the motorcyclist chose to set the bike ablaze rather than surrender it to the authorities.
The event attracted the attention of passersby, causing a temporary disruption in the area. Emergency services were called to the scene to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of the public.
