Beirut: The Governor of Mount Lebanon, Judge Mohammad Makkawi, issued a decision today prohibiting paragliding during Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the decision states: “Paragliding is prohibited during Pope Leo XIV’s visit for three days, from November 30, 2025, to December 1 and 2, 2025, in the Mount Lebanon Governorate.”
The Internal Security Forces are tasked with implementing the decision with utmost precision and taking legal measures against violators in accordance with the proper procedures.
