MP Abdullah, Finance Minister Jaber Discuss Budget, Financial Reforms

Beirut: Head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, MP Bilal Abdullah, on Monday met with Finance Minister Yassin Jaber at the ministry to discuss the financial situation and the ministry's reform program. Talks also addressed the budget approved by decree and specific provisions within it that require further review.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting highlighted the need for a comprehensive re-evaluation of certain budgetary allocations. These allocations have been identified as critical areas that could benefit from reform to ensure fiscal stability and economic growth. Both officials emphasized the importance of collaboration between parliamentary committees and the finance ministry to implement effective financial reforms.
