MP Bizri and Belgian Ambassador Address Sidon’s Response to Israeli Aggression

Sidon: Member of Parliament Dr. Abdul Rahman Bizri on Monday welcomed Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Arnout Pauwels, along with Dr. Zouhair Moussa, and Wael Bissat, to discuss the pressing social and living conditions in Sidon and its surrounding areas amid ongoing Israeli aggression.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on Sidon's significant role in accommodating and assisting families displaced by bombing and destruction. Following their discussions, Bizri and Pauwels visited the Saida Municipality to meet with Municipality Head Eng. Mustafa Hijazi and several municipal council members. They were informed about the ongoing efforts to organize shelter operations and deliberated on the city's essential needs to maintain its national role and safeguard its residents.

Moreover, Dr. Bizri and Ambassador Pauwels, joined by municipal council member Majed Abdul Jawad, visited two local shelter centers at the Palace of Justice and the Omani School. There, they received updates from center officials on the conditions of displaced families and identified their critical needs.
