Beirut: MP Qassem Hashem stressed that the decision of the 'Development and Liberation' and 'Loyalty to the Resistance' blocs to boycott the non-binding parliamentary consultations for forming the new government does not mean boycotting the government and Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hashem emphasized that these consultations are non-binding and do not prevent side contacts and understandings. He stated that the bloc's position is a matter of political principle to voice objection to breaking an agreement regarding the designation. He assured that both blocs will work with other parties to help Lebanon overcome its crises and will support the aspirations and hopes of the Lebanese people.
