Bsharri: MP Sethrida Geagea on Sunday cast her vote in the municipal and mayoral elections in Bsharri, affirming that 'it is every minister's right and national duty to vote.' She thanked President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam for 'insisting on holding constitutional deadlines on time,' and praised the efforts of Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjjar.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea expressed that 'winning is sweet, and so is the democratic celebration,' while noting that Samir Geagea would not vote as 'he considers all of Bsharri's residents to be his family.'
Geagea stressed openness to political diversity in Bsharri, emphasizing the trust placed in her by the people as a reflection of their belief in Geagea's political stance and ongoing development projects in the region.
