According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting highlighted the critical need to support municipalities that are hosting displaced families. The officials noted the increased pressure on public services and infrastructure and stressed the necessity of securing financial resources to ensure the continued provision of services to both the displaced and local communities.
Further discussions emphasized the urgency of expediting payments to hospitals that have been treating both displaced individuals and local residents. The participants pointed out that settling these outstanding dues is essential for maintaining healthcare services and alleviating the financial strain on medical institutions during these challenging times.
