Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, chaired the regular meeting of the Cooperation Committee between the Capital Municipality Council, municipal councils, and government entities. He highlighted the pivotal role undertaken by these councils in supporting development, progress, and prosperity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination frameworks between government entities, the Capital Municipality Council, and municipal councils. This initiative aims to ensure the integration of efforts in implementing service projects and achieving various aspirations and objectives.
The minister also noted the commitment to adopting initiatives and the ideas and visions presented by municipal councils. These will be discussed with relevant entities to serve the community and improve service quality.
The meeting reviewed road and sewerage projects in the Capital Governorate and the Muharraq Governorate, along with updates on plans and projects in the Northern and Southern Governorates.
