His work reflects the country's layered heritage, drawing from Greco-Roman, Judeo-Christian, Byzantine, and Islamic traditions. "Don't Get Me Wrong" is a sensitive topography of Lebanon, reflecting the artist's personal and cultural journey. Nabil Nahas, born in Beirut in 1949, is a prominent figure in contemporary art. He studied in the United States and has exhibited his work in major institutions worldwide. Nahas is represented by galleries in Beirut, Dubai, Munich, London, and Hong Kong.
