Baghdad The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received the Iranian Minister of National Security, Mahmoud Alawi.
At the beginning of the meeting, Alawi offered, according to a statement by the National Security Adviser’s media office, the condolences of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Iraqi people and government for the tragic fire of Al-Hussein Hospital (peace be upon him) in Dhi Qar.
During the meeting, they discussed the security and political situation at the international and regional levels, and bilateral relations and ways to develop them at all levels.
In the meeting, the importance of strengthening joint cooperation between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran was also emphasized, in the interest of the two friendly countries and peoples.
