Netanyahu Announces Israeli Forces’ Strategic Movement Across Litani River

Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israeli army forces have successfully crossed the Litani River in southern Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this significant military maneuver marks a notable development in the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah.

During a visit to the northern border of Israel with Lebanon, Netanyahu was accompanied by key military personnel, including the defense minister, the deputy chief of staff, the head of the northern command, and division commanders. He also engaged with soldiers actively operating in the field, emphasizing the strong resolve and fighting spirit among the troops.

Netanyahu highlighted the achievements of the Israeli forces, noting that they have not only crossed the Litani River but have also secured strategic high-ground positions. He asserted that operations are ongoing in Beirut and the Bekaa Valley, indicating a broad front of engagement. The Prime Minister claimed that Israeli forces are delivering substantial blows to Hezbollah, aiming to weaken their stronghold in the region.
