Tel aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today that “the Iranian axis has suffered a tremendous blow,” emphasizing, “Our goal is to prevent it from recovering,” according to Sky News Arabia. Netanyahu highlighted the ongoing efforts in Gaza as the primary front, focusing on ensuring the return of hostages, systematically eliminating Hamas’ presence in Rafah and Khan Younis, striking any forces that threaten Israeli security, and dismantling and disarming Hamas.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Netanyahu also addressed the situation on the Lebanese front. He asserted that Hezbollah is being targeted continuously but is attempting to rearm and recover. Netanyahu expressed expectations that the Lebanese government fulfill its commitment to disarm Hezbollah, while also making it clear that Israel will exercise its right to self-defense as per the ceasefire terms. He assured that Lebanon would not be allowed to become a new front against Israel and that necessary actions would be taken.
Furthermore, Netanyahu identified the Houthis as a significant threat, describing them as an extremely radical movement capable of producing ballistic missiles and other weapons. He stressed the seriousness of their commitment to a plan that threatens Israel’s existence and affirmed Israel’s determination to eliminate this threat as well.
